The roof is getting sheathed in... you can see the center hall skylight hole in the middle picture. Miguel is also doing the rough inside framing for the faux cathedral ceiling that will sit well above the huge, open foyer.

Trusses!
The trusses arrived this morning and we began lifting them into place. Their is quite a bit of hand cutting to this roof... which makes for a cold few days for Miguel and his crew.

Concrete prep
Thom's crew was in today to do the final prep for the concrete. We'll probably wait until the shingles are on at this point - just in case we get some rain that would potentially pit the concrete.

Framing Progress
Framing is really coming along, with some nice-ish weather helping. We got a nice long set of temporary stairs installed today so Jaime and Mike can get a view from the top!

2nd Floor Floor
81 Ambleside has a LOT of elevation change and a very interesting roof line...which makes for a challenging task to frame. Miguel has been practically sleeping with the truss layout to make sure he gets all of the wall heights just right.

1st Floor Walls Complete
While it was a little icy on the deck after the rainy days we've had, the weather has been really good. We managed to finish the first floor walls today, and submit the measurements for the trusses. The guys will come back to do the 2nd floor floor and walls in about a week and a half just in time for the arrival of the trusses.
